Our Staff - Leadership Team

Alison has been working with Discovery Behavioral Health since 2023 in their substance use division. She is the director of care coordination supporting the care coordination team at Casa Palmera. Alison found her love for behavioral health throughout her academic journey and recently received her master’s in public health from The George Washington University. She began working in the adolescent field after her own teenage and young adult struggles with mental health. After almost losing a loved one to alcoholism, Alison made the switch to adult substance abuse in order to educate and support not just the patients but their family, friends and loved ones on how to best guide and encourage – not enagle – those on a journey to sobriety. When Alison is not at work she enjoys reading, traveling, spending time with family and live music.
