Michelle Martin, MHA, LSSBBRegulatory Affairs Officer
Michelle has a Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration as well as degrees in Graphic Design, Marketing and Multimedia. Her experience includes marketing, social media, website and grant writing as well as administrative support of C-Suite executives.Utilizing Lean Six Sigma Process Improvement Tools, Michelle is able to implement the statistical and continuous process improvement projects based on Six Sigma and Lean Methodology. During graduate school, she spent 7 months as an intern at Scripps Green Hospital in La Jolla under the supervision of the Director of Operations Improvement/System Implementation Management and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt where she developed her project management skills. During this time, she played an integral role in implementing a system wide pilot program to reduce hospital readmission and improve the hospital discharge process based on the nationally recognized process improvement system known as “Better Outcomes for Older Adults through Safe Transition” (B.O.O.S.T.). Michelle has been involved with the San Diego Organization of Healthcare Leaders (SOHL), the local chapter of American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), since 2009 serving as a board member and providing marketing support. Since 1991, she has worked in the holistic wellness field supporting healthcare professionals to achieve the best health outcomes for the patient. Michelle brings a diversified set of skills that allows her the opportunity to play an active role in many aspects of any organization.
