Our Staff - Leadership Team

Tasha has worked in the helping field for over 20 years, starting her career working with children who had an autism diagnosis and then she transitioned to working with adults and adolescents in mental health and substance use/abuse. This afforded her the opportunity to gain experience doing drug and alcohol counseling for youth and adults as well as working as a lead mental health technician as she first started her career, spending 5 years at Willow Springs hospital a UHS facility.

Tasha joins us after most recently having been at Aurora Behavioral Healthcare (free-standing psychiatric hospital) in San Diego for 5 years in a leadership role there as the director of the admissions/intake department.  She transferred there from a sister hospital in Reno, Nevada called Reno Behavioral Healthcare Hospital. She worked at Reno Behavioral managing utilization review prior to relocating within the same company to the San Diego Aurora facility.

Tasha has both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in social work.

Her education, leadership experience and hands-on work in inpatient, residential, IOP/outpatient behavioral health settings give her a well-rounded background and make her a dynamic addition to our already talented OP team and as part of the overall Casa leadership team!
