Paula Lintin, PhDClinical Care Specialist
Paula holds a Doctorate in Counseling Psychology from Argosy University in San Diego, CA. She has worked in the behavioral health industry for over 20 years. Paula worked as a licensed clinician on the East coast and in Seattle, WA in a variety of settings including psychiatric hospitals, brain SPECT imaging clinics and acute psychiatric outpatient settings providing clinical assessments, crisis intervention, individual, family and group therapy, managing clinics and working with clinical teams to get the best outcomes for each patient. In 2014, she became clinical director for a county funded program that provided outreach behavioral services for adults with SMI (Serious Mental Illness) and co-occurring disorders, managing all screenings, triaging cases with law enforcement and transitional case management and team leadership. Paula has worked with many local agencies and community resources to improve how services are provided, helping all to work together to provide patients with the support needed to find mental wellness. In addition, Paula managed two leading brain health clinics that were part of a national network of centers that focus on better lifestyle habits and integrative, holistic treatment plans. Originally from England, Paula has spent most of her adult life here in the U.S., making her home in San Diego since 2014.
